The European wildcat (Felis silvestris silvestris) is a rare creature living a life full of riddles and still unconfirmed facts for us. It is an uncompromising hunter and a perfectly camouflaged predator in its natural environment. Nevertheless, this cat was almost overlooked by people for many years and in the shadow of the wolf, bear or lynx was only the fourth in line.Vladimír Čech Jr. (author)
